Hey guys, it's good to be writing a journal again. It's such a weakness of mine to keep it up to date, so it must seem like I'm never here. I do come here everyday, but I'm much more active on Flickr.

There's been a lot happening since I updated...I've moved into a beautiful house that my partner bought (he kindly says I bought it too ;) ), had an operation, recovered, worked to loose a bunch of weight and am loosing more each week, got pet rats (please no "ewww's", they're wonderful, smart, affectionate, clean animals that are just like dogs), got addicted to blogs, and took many photos.

I'll be careful not to add too many at once :P

How are you all? It's strange to watch dA morph and change...my two closest friends on here are seldom active on here too...perhaps we grow out of it, or perhaps life moves us on.

Anyway I better stop blathering on, I just wanted to update to say hi and that I still watch all your art and love your friendships :heart: :blowkiss:

What art do you do?
I focus on Photography but I occasionally do poetry and the odd piece of prose as well. See the fourth Q&A for more info.
What camera do you use?
I have a C-2 Olympus and a Canon 300D.
Why don’t you join in the forums anymore?
I still do, but to a much lesser amount. I’m more valuable to dA making comments than whoring the forums {although I love them a lot}
Why don’t you work further on your poems to make them better?
This is different to the photography reason. I write my poems when I need to – when upset, nervous, or going through something important. I write them exactly about how I feel at that time, as memento’s and for stress relief. To change these afterwards would be like trying to change those important events and my feelings, and this is also why I turn critique off.
Why do you watermark?
Same reason as anyone else decides to watermark - it would be really devastating to find out that someone has stolen my work and is treating it as their own. My photos and poetry are really personal and important.
What editing do you do? Why only that?
Currently I’m working on my photography skills. I want to be confident in my skills, and then I will introduce frames and editing into my work. I don’t want to be an artist who relies on editing to get a good shot, or to fix the mistakes they made.
